August 21st, 2009 THE TREE OF LIFE
Today’s morning watch is taken from:
Revelation 22:14 Happy are those who wash their robes clean and so have the right to eat the fruit from the tree of life and to go through the gates into the city.
Wahyu 22:14 Berbahagialah mereka yang membasuh jubahnya. Mereka akan memperoleh hak atas pohon-pohon kehidupan dan masuk melalui pintu-pintu gerbang ke dalam kota itu.
In Eden, Adam and Eve were barred from the tree of life because of their sin. In the new earth, God’s people will eat from the tree of life because their sins have been removed by Christ’s death and resurrection. Those who eat the fruit of this tree will live forever. If you have trusted Christ as Savior, he has forgiven your sins, and so you will have the right to eat from this tree.
Di taman Eden, Adam dan Hawa dihalang dari pohon kehidupan karena dosa mereka. Di dunia baru, umat-umat Tuhan akan makan dari pohon kehidupan karena dosa-dosa mereka telah disingkirkan oleh kematian Kristus dan kebangkitanNya. Kepada mereka yang makan buah dari pohon ini akan hidup selama-lamanya. Jika engkau telah mempercayai Kristus sebagai Juruselamatmu, dia telah mengampuni dosa-dosamu, dan engkau akan memperoleh kebenaran untuk memakan dari pohon ini.
