July 28th, 2009 THE MOST IMPORTANT COMMANDMENT
Today’s morning watch is found in:
Matthew 22:39, 40 The second most important commandment is like this one. And it is, "Love others as much as you love yourself." All the Law of Moses and the Books of the Prophets are based on these two commandments.
Matius 22:39,40 Perintah kedua sama dengan yang pertama itu: Cintailah sesamamu seperti engkau mencintai dirimu sendiri. Seluruh hukum agama yang diberikan oleh Musa dan ajaran para nabi berdasar pada kedua perintah itu."
Jesus says that if we truly love God and our neighbor, we will naturally keep the commandments. This is looking at God’s law positively. Rather than worrying about all we should not do, we should concentrate on all we can do to show our love for God and others.
Yesus berkata bahwa jika kita benar-benar mengasihi Allah dan sesame kita, kita akan secara langsung sudah melakukan perintah-perintahnya. Hal ini mencerminkan penurutan hukum Allah secara positif. Daripada kita mencemaskan segala sesuatu yang kita tidak perbuat, lebih baik kita memfokuskan dan berkonsentrasi kepada hal yang kita dapat buat untuk menunjukkan cinta kita kepada Allah dan sesama.
